Erin- This site is fantactic! I have never heard of this disease before. I have had TMJ in the past but could not imagine what u are going though. Someday hopefully I can donate but times are hard for us since I lost my job so I just give u my prayers for now and keep strong. Take Care

Hello, Erin, I'm remembering back to when I was first diagnosed AFTER THE BIRTH OF MY CHILD! That was 30 years ago. That was back when PsA didn't have a name. I was MTX for 18 years, but thank God, on my path to "wellness" (which led me down many paths) I discovered one true thing for me. It was the book called the Fungus link by Doug Kaufmann. Erin, Have you tried Humira? I was on methotrexate, arava, and vioxx for about 5 years when my liver functions starting going haywire. About that time Humira was released for use. It has been a Godsend! I was told it would take about 2 weeks to be able to tell a difference...I could tell a difference in 2 hours! My psoriatic arthritis was diagnosed in 1999. I still have moments when I overdo things but, for the most part, I am doing well and able to maintain my ability to work and be active in my daughter's life. Hope this helps.
